Space dividing solution
The workspace space in the Product design studio of the National Institute of Design needed a recreational corner and we decided to contribute one furniture each.
Since the space would change between a public recreational space to a private resting or rewinding space from time to time, the concern of space dividing was considered.
Square sectional metal rods
Nuts and bolts
Several processes such as measuring, marking, cutting, welding, sanding, painting, etc were used.
Unobtrusive when the same activity is happening on both sides
Shut the panel for privacy
Permanent racks are still accessible from the other side
Private yet permeable enough for conversations
Furniture in context and use
